Ten years ago, East Los Angeles College Women's Basketball was in the midst of an unprecedented three-year run of making the CCCAA State Championships.

East L.A. Sports Scene caught up to head coach Bruce Turner and his team for an in-depth look at the success they've enjoyed, along with how they began to change the narrative of ELAC Women's Basketball. They also spoke with Coach Turner about their then-upcoming State semifinal matchup with City College of San Francisco.
