Bio

Coach Daniel Jimenez has been a key member of the East Los Angeles College football staff since 2019, serving in multiple roles that highlight his versatility and leadership. From 2019 to 2021, he coached linebackers while also overseeing strength and conditioning. In 2022, he was elevated to Special Teams Coordinator, and in 2024 he advanced to Defensive Coordinator. For the 2025 season, Coach Jimenez takes on expanded responsibilities as Assistant Head Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, and Special Teams Coordinator.

Before joining ELAC, Jimenez spent seven seasons as the linebackers coach at Lincoln High School in Los Angeles, where he developed athletes and built a strong foundation in defensive coaching.

Coach Jimenez holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge. His educational background, combined with years of coaching experience, reflects his commitment to player development, performance, and program success.
